Who I am…

Who I am…

Howzit? Good I hope! I am a staff pastor at Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay in beautiful Kaneohe, Hawaii. I was born and raised in Kaneohe, a quaint little town on the Windward side of Oahu (we are civilized to have two Starbucks here). I currently run the Singles and Couples ministry as well as the Sports ministry at Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay. I am married to a wonderful, beautiful woman who keeps me in check. If you have any questions hit me up. I’d love sit down and talk story. Thanks for stopping by, we hope to see you again real soon!

  1. Dear Scott,

I am Crissy Terawaki Kawamoto’s mother. I just wanted to let you know that you, Keao, & Casey are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I have been kept abreast of things going on through Crissy and Todd and of course your writings.

Even if we do not know each other, my heart has ached for you both and I have also felt immense pride at the faith you have displayed throughout these past few weeks. God’s love for us is so great, even through our hard and difficult times, he loves us, comforts us and never abandons us.

I will continue to pray for you and your family.

    Cheryl Terawaki

  2. Googled “Hope deferred” and was directed to your blog and story. Wow I was moved! I am a missionary and currently ministering in Tel Aviv this week.
Prayers for you and your wife… Daylight’s burning, Luke

    1. I, too, Googled “Hope Deferred”…and it brought me here. It’s so hard dealing with a deferrment of hope. You would think that your faith couldn’t be shattered and your hope couldn’t be taken away…but God usually has other plans. Oh well.
